Expanded softlaunch: Instagram-based quiz game Clashtag released in additional territories [PRESS RELEASE]

Clashtag by Swedish developer ISBIT Games and US publisher Deep Silver, Inc. enters stage two of its broadly based softlaunch phase.

Following a successful roll-out in Sweden, Norway, Finland and Denmark, the “ultimate social game for Instagrammers” now debuts on both the App Store and the Google Play Store in Ireland, Belgium, Luxembourg and the Netherlands. Alongside with the expansion of the softlaunch territories, a new version of Clashtag containing numerous adjustments and enhancements got released.

A fun and diverting social game, Clashtag centers around playful duels between friends or random contenders, who try to beat each other in a series of addictive mini-games such as “Puzzle“, “Fill The Gap“ or “Most Likes?“. What makes these mini-games all the more exciting is the fact that they are based on images derived from Instagram’s live feed. Thus, no two game rounds are the same and there is no shortage of change and variation. With its unique approach, Clashtag expands the exploration of Instagram’s inspiring photo scape by a sportive complexion.

To further personalize their gaming experiences, players can also upload their own images and define the hashtags from which the motifs of the different mini-games derive. This helps particularly engaged Instagrammers to score likes for their photos and followers for their profiles directly while they play. On top of that, Clashtag also enables its players to chat with each other via an integrated messenger in between the individual game rounds. Players from Scandinavia, Ireland and Benelux can now download Clashtag for free from the App Store and the Google Play Store. In the rest of the world the game will go live in 2016.
