Playable at last: Galaxy on Fire 3 - Manticore now in Closed Development Beta [DEV BLOG #1]
Steadily and arduously, we have worked towards a huge milestone in the release roadmap of our upcoming sci-fi epic Galaxy on Fire 3 - Manticore. And earlier today we reached it by kicking off our Closed Development Beta! For starters, we have gotten our colleagues from the other Deep Silver studios and Koch Media departments on board; as well as a first batch of selected community members picked at random. We know that many of you are eagerly waiting to lay your hands on the next installment of the Galaxy on Fire saga, so it might interest you to hear that this won’t be the last wave of invitations that we send out - so keep on checking your inbox.
What does “Closed Development Beta” really mean? Well, it means that we still have a long way to go as the game is in a very rough state at the moment. We will continue development through the Closed Development Beta based on the feedback we receive. As our work continues, GOF3 - Manticore will become more and more fun to play, and believe us – it is pretty damned great already!
In Galaxy on Fire 3 - Manticore, there is a ton to explore in each and every orbit you traverse... stations, structures, debris... you name it!
Very soon, a leading mobile gaming outlet will publish an exclusive kick-off interview with one of our studio’s executives. In the course of this article, a ton of questions that had been circulating in our community for months will finally be answered. If you read it carefully, you will get a pretty good impression of where we are heading with GOF3. Following up on that interview, we will also intensify our own pre-release communication, both in terms of frequency as well as in regard to how in-depth we will go. Amongst others, we will give more interviews with genre media, highlight selected aspects of GOF3 in special developer blogs and share a wealth of exclusive assets and insights via Facebook, Instagram and Twitter. And, of course, we will answer your questions as well and precisely as we can on our forums. If there is anything you have been dying to find out about the next installment of the GOF saga, join our community now and follow the remainder of the development as closely as you can.
But now, let us return to the Closed Development Beta once more. If you’d like to find out more about the tester selection, we recommend you to stay tuned to our forums and take a look at the respective topic every once in a while. Our community team is more than happy to enter into a dialogue with you. If you have not yet done so, feel free to sign up to our User Area via http://bit.ly/gof3-signup. As soon as you have registered there, you will automatically be added to our pool of potential testers of GOF3 as well as yet-to-be-announced titles from our future release pipeline.
